1. Supplement and coordinate health and related services to the community as resources allow.

2. Arrange for emergency and/or assistance in meeting individual or family health needs.

3. Provide material and personnel support to community health
services as resources allow.

4. Provide necessary first aid for personnel assigned to the disaster operation. This service is provided independently or in conjunction with the county health care delivery hospitals.

5. Serve as a clearinghouse for inquiries about disaster victims' health and welfare and location, and inter-organization disaster information.

6. Coordinate blood and blood product requests with the local hospitals.

7. Assure adequate blood supply to meet demand and coordinate acquisition of additional resources when necessary.
